Introduction to ‘Hi-Fi’ and selected listenings

with special guests Peter Laurence and Seth Torres

This listening based workshop will introduce Hi-Fi audio reproduction – the concept, its problems, and charm. Following this, our guest presenters will preface several listenings selected from both their personal vinyl collections and the Universities extensive vinyl archive.

Vinyl listenings for this workshop include Taylor Swift, Miles Davis, and Karlheinz Stockhausen, among others. Our HiFi system will feature a vintage Thorens turntable and modern Genelec studio loudspeakers.
